DHL Western Province captain Siya Kolisi has returned to full training

DHL Western Province captain Siya Kolisi has returned to full training, forwards coach Rito Hlungwani confirmed on Tuesday when speaking to the media in a virtual press conference ahead of Saturday’s encounter against the Vodacom Blue Bulls.

Over the past months, Kolisi has had his fair share of injury setbacks with the latest coming against the Phakisa Pumas in a Super Rugby Unlocked match, which his side snatched a last-minute win.

“Siya is fit, he has been and looking good. Whether we are going to let him go for the weekend, I’ll keep it a secret for a few more hours. But he’s excited to be involved with the guys,” said Hlungwani.

Western Province will hope to have Jaco Coetzee and Ally Vermaak back this weekend in the North-South derby at Newlands.
